I and YOUtopia INstitute have Relocated to Rocky Mount, North Carolina
I AM
aware that many YOUtopia INstitute 1012 Beal Street Rocky Mount, NC 27804-5207 Tel: 252-442-9551 I choose Rocky Mount, NC because I'm looking to get out of the 'action' of traffic congestions, over priced cost of living, and numerous other elements and aspects of rapidly deteriorating desirable quality of life in 'big cities'. I was told Rocky Mount is where the television show, Mayberry with Andy Griffith was taped - the 'boonies', somewhat rural, relatively quiet, and much slower, with the cost of living being almost a third of what it is in San Diego now. More particularly, I choose Rocky Mount, rather than some other similar place, because I have never spent any time there, and it is the birthplace of my mother, Nettie Mae Ford - her father Arthur Ford, My grandmother, Roberta, and my great grandfather, Eli - Cherokee - native person of this continent. I'm not sure how far back my immediate bloodline ancestry goes back here, and I AM about doing research on that matter. Rocky Mount also happens to be the birthplace of Thelonious Monk, and I intend to do some serious practicing of my musical instruments here, hopefully in a peaceful environment - in continued pursuit of my IMP/Individual Maximum Potential. Now that I AM here, I have received the prompting to establish The Thelonious Sphere Monk Jazz Society in Rocky Mount, North Carolina - Monk's birthplace - in dedication, appreciation and continuation of his works and play, as well as all of the other originally innovative, beneficial and influential Giants of Jazz - also spiritual teachers and philosophers who personified, and personify, the highest levels of the human creative potential, and love power, strong and fair, fair and strong. Cosmic Conscience

Kali is the Pure Transcendental Shakti. Kali is the Night of Darkness. KALIKA PURANA Kali is naked, just as your mind was originally naked and will ultimately return to nakedness. Like Shiva's, Kali's nakedness both attracts and repels. In her primordial nakedness, all things are possible. Kali's three eyes tell of her absolute power over the three times of past, present and future and suggest that her inner nature is deeply perceptive. Symbolizing the exalted forces of the sun, the moon and lighting, the three eyes of Mother Kali show her control over this universe.
Her four arms symbolize the four directions of north, south east and west, reminding us that the four main psychic centers at the navel, heart, throat and head must be penetrated and harmonized before Liberation can be achieved. Kali's upper left hand holds the sword by which she destroys doubts and dualistic limitations; her lower left hand swings a newly severed head by the hair, symbolizing the severance of the ego and the normally restricting forces of destiny. Her upper right hand makes a gesture to protect and dispel all the fears of her devotees, and her lower right hand make a gesture that grants wishes.
Her enemies are hypocrisy, doubt, selfishness and envy; her friend are those who serve and love her dearly.
