~ Wheel of theYear ~

Based on agricultural, solar, and seasonal cycles the Pagan Wheel of the Year consists of eight perpetual spokes. Each spoke represents a point of transition as the wheel continues its eternal movement through the universe. The quarter days mark the seasonal solstices and equinoxes. The cross-quarter divisions mark the agrarian celebrations.

All Hallow's Eve

by Glenn "SpaarHawk" McGinty

Halloween.
Sly does it. Tiptoe catspaws. Slide and creep.
But why? What for? How? Who? When! Where did it all begin?
'You don't know, do you?' asks Carapace Clavicle Moundshroud climbing out
under the pile of leaves under the Halloween Tree. 'You don't REALLY know!'

--Ray Bradbury
from 'The Halloween Tree'

Samhain. All Hallows. All Hallow's Eve. Hallow E'en. Halloween. The most magical night of the year. Exactly opposite Beltane on the wheel of the year, Halloween is Beltane's dark twin. A night of glowing jack-o-lanterns, bobbing for apples, tricks or treats, and dressing in costume. A night of ghost stories and seances, tarot card readings and scrying with mirrors. A night of power, when the veil that separates our world from the Otherworld is at its thinnest. A 'spirit night', as they say in Wales.

All Hallow's Eve is the eve of All Hallow's Day (November 1st). And for once, even popular tradition remembers that the Eve is more important than the Day itself, the traditional celebration focusing on October 31st, beginning at sundown. And this seems only fitting for the great Celtic New Year's festival. Not that the holiday was Celtic only. In fact, it is startling how many ancient and unconnected cultures (the Egyptians and pre-Spanish Mexicans, for example) celebrated this as a festival of the dead. But the majority of our modern traditions can be traced to the British Isles.

The Celts called it Samhain, which means 'summer's end', according to their ancient two-fold division of the year, when summer ran from Beltane to Samhain and winter ran from Samhain to Beltane. (Some modern Covens echo this structure by letting the High Priest 'rule' the Coven beginning on Samhain, with rulership returned to the High Priestess at Beltane.) According to the later four-fold division of the year, Samhain is seen as 'autumn's end' and the beginning of winter. Samhain is pronounced (depending on where you're from) as 'sow-in' (in Ireland), or 'sow-een' (in Wales), or 'sav-en' (in Scotland), or (inevitably) 'sam-hane' (in the U.S., where we don't speak Gaelic).

Not only is Samhain the end of autumn; it is also, more importantly, the end of the old year and the beginning of the new. Celtic New Year's Eve, when the new year begins with the onset of the dark phase of the year, just as the new day begins at sundown. There are many representations of Celtic gods with two faces, and it surely must have been one of them who held sway over Samhain. Like his Greek counterpart Janus, he would straddle the threshold, one face turned toward the past in commemoration of those who died during the last year, and one face gazing hopefully toward the future, mystic eyes attempting to pierce the veil and divine what the coming year holds. These two themes, celebrating the dead and divining the future, are inexorably intertwined in Samhain, as they are likely to be in any New Year's celebration.

As a feast of the dead, it was believed the dead could, if they wished, return to the land of the living for this one night, to celebrate with their family, tribe, or clan. And so the great burial mounds of Ireland (sidh mounds) were opened up, with lighted torches lining the walls, so the dead could find their way. Extra places were set at the table and food set out for any who had died that year. And there are many stories that tell of Irish heroes making raids on the Underworld while the gates of faery stood open, though all must return to their appointed places by cock-crow.

As a feast of divination, this was the night par excellence for peering into the future. The reason for this has to do with the Celtic view of time. In a culture that uses a linear concept of time, like our modern one, New Year's Eve is simply a milestone on a very long road that stretches in a straight line from birth to death. Thus, the New Year's festival is a part of time. The ancient Celtic view of time, however, is cyclical. And in this framework, New Year's Eve represents a point outside of time, when the natural order of the universe dissolves back into primordial chaos, preparatory to re-establishing itself in a new order. Thus, Samhain is a night that exists outside of time and hence it may be used to view any other point in time. At no other holiday is a tarot card reading, crystal reading, or tea-leaf reading so likely to succeed.

The Christian religion, with its emphasis on the 'historical' Christ and his act of redemption 2000 years ago, is forced into a linear view of time, where 'seeing the future' is an illogical proposition. In fact, from the Christian perspective, any attempt to do so is seen as inherently evil. This did not keep the medieval Church from co-opting Samhain's other motif, commemoration of the dead. To the Church, however, it could never be a feast for all the dead, but only the blessed dead, all those hallowed (made holy) by obedience to God - thus, All Hallow's, or Hallowmas, later All Saints and All Souls.

There are so many types of divination that are traditional to Hallowstide, it is possible to mention only a few. Girls were told to place hazel nuts along the front of the firegrate, each one to symbolize one of her suitors. She could then divine her future husband by chanting, 'If you love me, pop and fly; if you hate me, burn and die.' Several methods used the apple, that most popular of Halloween fruits. You should slice an apple through the equator (to reveal the five-pointed star within) and then eat it by candlelight before a mirror.

Your future spouse will then appear over your shoulder. Or, peel an apple, making sure the peeling comes off in one long strand, reciting, 'I pare this apple round and round again; / My sweetheart's name to flourish on the plain: / I fling the unbroken paring o'er my head, / My sweetheart's letter on the ground to read.' Or, you might set a snail to crawl through the ashes of your hearth. The considerate little creature will then spell out the initial letter as it moves.

Perhaps the most famous icon of the holiday is the jack-o-lantern. Various authorities attribute it to either Scottish or Irish origin. However, it seems clear that it was used as a lantern by people who traveled the road this night, the scary face to frighten away spirits or faeries who might otherwise lead one astray. Set on porches and in windows, they cast the same spell of protection over the household. (The American pumpkin seems to have forever superseded the European gourd as the jack-o-lantern of choice.) Bobbing for apples may well represent the remnants of a Pagan 'baptism' rite called a 'seining', according to some writers. The water-filled tub is a latter-day Cauldron of Regeneration, into which the novice's head is immersed. The fact that the participant in this folk game was usually blindfolded with hands tied behind the back also puts one in mind of a traditional Craft initiation ceremony.

The custom of dressing in costume and 'trick-or-treating' is of Celtic origin with survivals particularly strong in Scotland. However, there are some important differences from the modern version. In the first place, the custom was not relegated to children, but was actively indulged in by adults as well. Also, the 'treat' which was required was often one of spirits (the liquid variety). This has recently been revived by college students who go 'trick-or-drinking'. And in ancient times, the roving bands would sing seasonal carols from house to house, making the tradition very similar to Yuletide wassailing. In fact, the custom known as 'caroling', now connected exclusively with mid-winter, was once practiced at all the major holidays. Finally, in Scotland at least, the tradition of dressing in costume consisted almost exclusively of cross-dressing (i.e., men dressing as women, and women as men). It seems as though ancient societies provided an opportunity for people to 'try on' the role of the opposite gender for one night of the year. (Although in Scotland, this is admittedly less dramatic - but more confusing - since men were in the habit of wearing skirt-like kilts anyway. Oh well...)

To Witches, Halloween is one of the four High Holidays, or Greater Sabbats, or cross-quarter days. Because it is the most important holiday of the year, it is sometimes called 'THE Great Sabbat.' It is an ironic fact that the newer, self-created Covens tend to use the older name of the holiday, Samhain, which they have discovered through modern research. While the older hereditary and traditional Covens often use the newer name, Halloween, which has been handed down through oral tradition within their Coven. (This often holds true for the names of the other holidays, as well. One may often get an indication of a Coven's antiquity by noting what names it uses for the holidays.)

With such an important holiday, Witches often hold three distinct celebrations. First, a large Halloween party for non-Craft friends, often held on the previous weekend. Second, an all-inclusive celebration called a “Witches Ball”, and third, a Coven ritual held on Halloween night itself, late enough so as not to be interrupted by trick-or-treaters. If the rituals are performed properly, there is often the feeling of invisible friends taking part in the rites. Another date which may be utilized in planning celebrations is the actual cross-quarter day, or Old Halloween, or Halloween O.S. (Old Style). This occurs when the sun has reached 15 degrees Scorpio, an astrological 'power point' symbolized by the Eagle. The celebration would begin at sunset. Interestingly, this date (Old Halloween) was also appropriated by the Church as the holiday of Martinmas.

Of all the Witchcraft holidays, Halloween is the only one that still boasts anything near to popular celebration. Even though it is typically relegated to children (and the young-at-heart) and observed as an evening affair only, many of its traditions are firmly rooted in Paganism. Incidentally, some schools have recently attempted to abolish Halloween parties on the grounds that it violates the separation of state and religion. Speaking as a Pagan, I would be saddened by the success of this move, but as a supporter of the concept of religion-free public education, I fear I must concede the point. Nonetheless, it seems only right that there should be one night of the year when our minds are turned toward thoughts of the supernatural. A night when both Pagans and non-Pagans may ponder the mysteries of the Otherworld and its inhabitants. And if you are one of them, may all your jack-o'lanterns burn bright on this All Hallow's Eve.

The relevant signs that lie between Mabon and Samhain are:

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)

"The symbol of Scorpio is the scorpion and the sign's ruling planets are Mars and Pluto. Scorpios are influenced by the water element and intense is a good word to describe them. Those born under Scorpio tend to be passionate, focused, sensitive and sensual, but they can also be secretive and destructive" (Cheung, 2006).

~

Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 21)

"The symbol for Sagittarius is the archer and Jupiter is the ruling planet. Sagittarians are influenced by the fire element and open minded is a good description of them. Those born under Sagittarius tend to be unconventional, idealistic and visionary, with a need to seek spiritual enlightenment. They can also be reckless and ruthless" (Cheung, 2006).

 ~ Celtic Tree Astrology ~

The 13-sign lunar zodiac of the ancient Druids is the feature in this column. Each full moon of the year corresponds to a sacred tree. The following trees are relevant during the time span between Mabon and Samhain. The reference used here is The Handbook of Celtic Astrology by Helena Paterson. Persephone and Pluto form a unifying aspect of the psyche which nevertheless is full of drama and passion. People born at this time have a powerful personal presence similar to the Ivy people, the difference being that Reed people are more forceful and less inclined to compromise, for they have a role to play which excludes any signs of weakness or the luxury of sitting on the fence. They act like catalysts rather than competitors in life, and they are more concerned with changing the whole formula of life rather than certain aspects of it..." (Paterson, 1995).

~ Gnosis ~

Here at Ancestral Coalescence we use the word "gnosis" to refer to the inner "knowing" and awareness we all have inherent within us. Please do not confuse our approach with the increasingly popular buzz words "gnostic" or "gnosticism." Unfortunately, these words have begun to take on some connotations we prefer to refrain from. Dogmatic approaches and institutionalization of gnosis is gaining momentum. And historically, gnosis has taken some severe hits also.

As a new area to the website, Gnosis will be expanded upon over the next several months.

One of our sponsorship projects relates to the work of Philip Gardiner. He has a number of books and videos out concerning his research including the area of Gnosis. A brand new video still in production is Ancient Code. It is due to be released to the public around the end of 2008. We will keep you updated as information in released. For more information click on the banner below.

Ancient Code.com: The Quest For Truth

~ Esoterica ~

Esoterica is another new column to the newsletter. As we make the shift to a more awareness centered format, the former columns of Astrology, Numerology, Tarot, etc. will be rolled into this column. We plan to cover some of the more in depth areas of these topics as opposed to the familiar entertainment perspectives in the mainstream.

Here at Ancestral Coalescence our dedication is to the awakening, awareness, and preparedness process we are experiencing on many levels - mind, body, and spirit. It is our core understanding that the Natural Laws and basic Universal Structures have been purposely infiltrated and corrupted, leaving in its wake an adulterated version of the Universal Truths.

Through the study of Esoterica and honing our critical inner gnosis we will present a path to the simple Truths. We will tease away each layer of deceit. Deceit wrought through intentional, unintentional, and best intentional means.

As the veils of deception dissipate and the light of truth shines thru massive piles of dirt will be revealed. Much of this dirt will be difficult to comprehend and it will be tempting to disregard the truth and slip back into the chains of denial.

All manner of emotion will ensue as the grieving process is activated. Birth is not without change. Change is not without death. Death is not without grief. Old ways of seeing and thinking will be challenged.

We only ask you be gentle with yourself through this process. Do not deny the shadow emotions that emerge. Instead analyze them. Allow them to motivate you. Allow them to transform into the natural catalyst they are meant to become. This is one of the basic alchemical processes so many have misplaced.

Welcome to your awakening and may Truth be with you.

One of THE foremost themes of the Samhain season is honoring our ancestors. What better way to honor those who have gone before is to not let their struggles be in vain. When will we as a species cease the repetitive treadmill of history and begin standing on our own sovereign feet?

~ Astrotheology ~

The Mabon 2008 Newsletter article concerning the Precession of the Equinoxes leads to Binary Motion. Last time we discussed the possibility that the wobble of the earth caused the phenomena of the Precession of the Equinoxes. Although this explains pieces of the process, it falls short of explaining the entire picture.

Precession, being controlled by a second celestial body (or God), has a common thread in virtually every myth known; including Mythraic, Sumerian, Greek, Vedic, Chinese, Mayan, Hopi, Sioux, and Norse mythologies. Also attributed to the cycles is the idea of the rise and fall of civilizations in conjunction to the Great Year. And it has been theorized that the perceived alterations in time itself (some claim to sense time "speeding up") may be due to the slingshot effect of two heavenly bodies encircling one another.

"No doubt there are great catastrophes, such as comets, asteroids, large earth movements, or possibly even pole shifts that befall the earth from time to time and interrupt the history of man. And maybe even extraterrestrials affected life here on earth. But none of these explain why we had a progressively declining civilization for thousands of years before the dark ages, or why intelligence and technology generally seem to be advancing so smartly since the beginning of the renaissance. A binary system of our sun traveling through space taking the earth on a long elliptical journey where it might possibly be influenced by cosmic radiation, negative ions, a different magnetic field, or even increasing or decreasing amounts of a certain spectrum of light, could very well explain the myths that come to us from every world culture. Incidentally, there is good science to prove the aforementioned subtle influences effect consciousness and can dramatically change test scores and individual behavior. Imagine what would happen if the whole planet were affected on an ongoing basis for thousands of years" (Cruttenden, Walter). (link to full article)

The Binary System theory can go a long way in explaining how humans have been influenced over the ages. The myths, the conspiracies, the dogmas, the religions, etc. can all be attributed to a Natural Cycle of the Universe. Regardless of our petty squabbles (be it with ourselves, the "elite," the "aliens," the "gods," or whatever) it becomes pretty clear the Universe will continue its course.

It all boils down to trusting your own interface of the inner- and outer-verses that make up the Universe. Our mental and physical bodies will take the brink of what the outer-verse has to dish out. These bodies will be eventually shed. But our spiritual bodies must be protected at all cost. The predators will use the mental and the physical to their best advantage in the goal of entrapping the spirit. Do what you can through awareness and preparedness to ride out the influences that are bound to be presented. But, always keep in mind your sovereign spirit and remain free.

~ Lunar Cycles ~

One of the first methods of tracking time was the observance of the lunation cycles. The moon has two primary phases: waxing (growing) and waning (declining). Some people celebrate only the full moons. Others celebrate both the full and dark moons.

Each year consists of 13 lunations. Each lunation consists of 8 lunar phases, as well as a waning (lessening) and a waxing (growing) component.

The dark moon is a quiet time, a time for divination and personal workings. The dark moon is a time for holding power. The lunation cycle begins with the New Moon (0-45 degrees from Sun to Moon) and corresponds with energies such as birth, new beginnings, initiative, creativity, and emergence.

As the moon progresses it is considered to be waxing, or growing, until it reaches its Full Moon phase. The energies corresponding to the waxing of the moon are growth and a time of planting, literally and figuratively.

The next lunar phase is the Crescent Moon (45-90 degrees). The energy correspondences for this phase include challenges, effort, change, activity, and expansion. Following is the First Quarter Moon (90-135 degrees) which corresponds with the energies of breakthrough, crisis of action, separation from past, and action. The Gibbous Moon (135-180 degrees) finishes the waxing portion of the lunation. Gibbous energies consist of development, evaluation, perfecting, and overcoming.

Midway through the cycle is the Full Moon (180-225 degrees). The Full Moon governs the energies of culmination, illumination, objectivity, vision, and fulfillment. "This phase is conducive for creativity because of the high energy and clarity of vision it brings. It is also conducive for teaching. The energy of the full moon is intense. It is a time for sending forth intentions because of the high-powered energy that can propel them to manifest" (Kynes, 2004).

The moon now moves into its waning, or shrinking stage. Waning energies are a time for turning inward and reflecting. It is a time for reaping what was "planted" during the waxing period.

At the point of the Disseminating Moon (225-270 degrees) energies involved with teaching, reaping, maturity, communication, and demonstration are prevalent. Next, the Last Quarter Moon (270-315 degrees) is a time of assimilation, crisis to consciousness, harvest, and reorientation. Ending the lunation is the Balsamic Moon (315-0 degrees). Here is a time of death, transition, prophetic or future orientations, destiny, and release.

The first Full Moon between Samhain and Winter Solstice this year is Nov 12. This moon is known as the Moon of Descent. It is also known as the Snow Moon, the Mourning Moon, and the Frosty Moon. Dec 04 will be the Dark Moon and the second Full Moon will be Dec 12. This moon is known as the Moon of Completion and otherwise known as the Oak Moon, the Cold Moon, and the Snow Moon as well.

For November's lunar meditation consider: "November is a time that is betwixt and between as we move further into the dark of the year. After confronting our own mortality at Samhain, November is a time to turn inward and examine the truths (and falsehoods) in our lives to enable us to move forward and grow." (Kynes, 2004).

~

For December's lunar meditation consider: "As the year draws to a close and holiday preparations become a frenzied blur, pause in the moonlight and step out of that frazzled mindset to take a look at your life. Note whether or not you have moved toward your personal and spiritual goals. It is not so important that you have reached these goals as long as you are working in the direction you want to go. Know that you cannot change what has passed but you can chart your course for what is to be" (Kynes, 2004).

Four: "Four represents solidity, stability, practicality, earthiness, responsibility, dependability, and industriousness. Four is a follower rather than a leader. It is the 'eternal principle of creation,' according to Pythagoras, since it is the final number that brings everything to unity (1+2+3+4). It describes the universe (four elements, four quarters, four directions). It is a principle number of aschemy and represents a transition or initiation of consciousness from the three-dimensional realm to the fourth dimension" (Guiley, 2006).

"After encountering the male and female sides of himself, the Fool now encounters the feminine force of Nature in the form of the Goddess, who nurtures the seed in her earth womb and brings it forth to life and reabsorbs it in death to await another spring. She who is the changeless and ever-changing face of the moon, She who turns the wheel of the stars. The Fool is forced to recognize that there are powers outside himself. He must come to terms with living in a manifest world and learn how to interact with it" (Franklin, 1998).

Literary & Cinema Review

With the endless bombardment of heavy, dredging material I am buried in on a daily basis, it has been a absolute pleasure to immerse my spirit in Hidden Passages: Tales to Honor the Crones by Vila Spiderhawk.

Vila's style is very refreshing and insightful. The surface material is entertaining, but below the surface are layers of ancient wisdoms. As I read I was carried into the realms of womanhood from perspectives I had not considered prior. All at once I saw the world through my granddaughters' eyes, my daughters' eyes, my mother's eyes, my grandmothers' eyes, my great-grandmothers' eyes, and all of this through my own eyes.

During the time of year to honor the ancestors I could not have found a better way to do so as I found within the pages meant to honor the crones. By honoring the crone we also honor the maid and the mother as well as life and death themselves.

This book is definitely a recommended read. We will have several copies of Hidden Passages: Tales to Honor the Crones available at our booth at the Casper Holistic Fair, October 18-19, 2008.

~ Preparedness ~

The other day we got a group email message from a dear friend. She has gone though an extremely difficult year. It was evident she grappled for some time with swallowing her pride and resorted to asking for donations from friends and family. With little ones involved in her dire circumstances, she could not see them suffer.

Although we are far from being ahead of the game ourselves, we agreed to take her $100.00 to help. Being able to help our friend brought us tremendous joy. But it also brought us another message far from joyous. This was but an eye-opener to the beginning of the struggles and decisions we will be facing, and soon.

The reality of how hard it is going to be to have to turn down those in need in times of bare survival became blatantly clear. That $100.00 may very well mean months from our own survival stores.

Don't get me wrong, I do not regret the deed one bit. I am glad we were able to help. This friend actually helped me with cat food once years ago while I was recovering from surgery. So I was very grateful to be able to return her kindness.

The message I am trying to convey here is one of the evident shift in thinking we are faced with at this point. The images of the food lines my grandmother shared with me in her stories of the Depression. Images of her having to sneak into the neighbor's garden to feed her children. The images of her trudging through miles of snow ladened fields to sell a few eggs. The images of her rocking her dead infant in her arms because she was unable to produce milk due to her own starvation...

All of this came at me in a torrent of emotion on the waves of ancestral struggle and pain. To realize I will soon be facing these very decisions concerning my children and grandchildren was a clear message. A message I felt compelled to share. Please, do what you can to prepare for the onslaught of hard times. Take responsibility for yourself and those you love. In the future, when I am forced to say "no" it will not be out of greed or lack of compassion. But out of mere survival. It gives me comfort to know these words may have made the difference to someone out there.

May this never come to pass. May you find comfort when it does. Many blessings to all.

~ Dave's Rant ~

October 5, 2008

Greetings Fellow Seekers:

The last couple of months has seen me rather evolving – primarily due to my many attempts to identify, prioritize and then define issues, such as our endangered food supplies, that need to be Ranted about. But then that general issue necessitates being broken into sub issues such as Codex Alimentarius, Genetically Modified foods, the extensive lists of poisons sold/served as foods, the corruption of the FDA approval process, Monsanto, livestock cruelties and on and on. The problem is, as I begin Ranting about one issue or another, I find that the information that needs to be put out is so intensive, involved and overwhelmingly massive that I don’t know where to begin, yet alone end, while covering it all in a one column Rant. In fact, the food issues alone would likely require one or more books of a size equal to the complete compendium of the IRS Tax codes! The whole thing is just toooooo big for me!

Then there are the issues of big medicine, big pharmaceuticals, the extreme expansion of the brutal elite paramilitary police state, the controlled medias, gun control/confiscations, spying/wiretapping/violating citizens privacy rights, censorship of the web, free speech zones, the empire building (multi-million death) wars and invasions, suspension of Posse Comitatus (Federal infantry brigades are, even now as I’m writing this, being tasked and trained to enforce U.S civil marshal law), the North American Union, RFID chips, suspension of Habeas Corpus, sanctioned human torture, FEMA ‘death trains’ and hundreds of currently staffed relocation/concentration camps, the military industrial complex with it’s resultant trillions of dollars of financial corruption, the rapidly re-evolving U.S. National Socialist (that’s NAZI in German) Fascist agendas, the hearing/reading impaired, bought out Senate and Congress, 911/Patriot Act/Homeland Security/terrorist government, the current outrageous sellout of America to the corrupt/criminal banksters and the impending contrived  economic crash, IRS/Federal Reserve, etc, etc, etc.

I honestly can’t begin to cover all these issues and frankly am not going to try. Use our resources on http://www.ancestralcoalescence.net/ to find out for yourself far more than I could ever begin to Rant about.

Just as a note to all this – under the current new anti-terrorist “laws,” just the fact of me writing this and other articles, in an attempt to wake people up and motivate dissent against the corruption, means I fit the definition of a “terrorist,” can be arrested without charges, searched without warrant, my possessions confiscated, held indefinitely without trial or benefit of Habeas Corpus, tortured, imprisoned at an unknown location and if executed, no explanation would be necessary or likely forth coming. You’re having read this and harboring knowledge of my “terrorist” activity with out reporting it could garner you the same end. What, in the name of insidious evil, is going on in our country that most people don’t know this?

The dirty, putrid list goes on and on and on, and it will continue to do so until we, the American voters, get openly seriously, furiously outraged and start shamelessly screaming bloody murder from the fullest capacity of our lungs and begin to actively, individually take back our government. No “savior” is going to magically appear to do it for us. We’ve got to take on the efforts, risks and responsibilities of doing it for ourselves.

A good definition of insanity is: Making the same mistake over and over again, but each time expecting different results.

That is the insanity of our current two party political system. Whether you vote for the Conservative Socialist Party (Republican) or the Liberal Socialist Party (Democrat) you are perpetuating the same insanity, term after term. They are both repeatedly fulfilling the same in-your-face agendas, but just doing it from different angles.

It is time for a revolted voter revolt. A revolution. It’s time to send a clear message to the “hidden unaccountable government” by casting your vote for any 3rd party candidate your conscience will allow. No more voting for the one of the two shit houses that stinks the least. It’s time to douche out the slime that is infecting and enslaving our lives.

I personally have some limited issues with all the current 3rd party candidates or their party platforms, but would cast my vote for one of them, if it wasn’t for the one person, who all along has been straight with America and correct (in my humble opinion) on virtually every issue - Ron Paul.

Marilee and I intend to put Ron Paul on our ballots as a write in. I strongly encourage you to do the same. He doesn’t have a snowman’s chance in hell of winning – even if he should get every popular vote in America, the Electoral College is only going to vote the two party line. It can however, make all the difference at the Senate, Congressional, state and local levels. That is where we have to concentrate on making the biggest impact. I absolutely must vote my conscience in both the Presidential election and the federal, state and local elections, and send my message that I’m done being controlled by their blowing outright lies and horse feathers up my ass. I will frankly vote for very nearly anyone, at all levels, who is not a Republican or Democrat.

I hear the argument that to do this is to “waste your vote.” That thinking couldn’t be more wrong. The real wasted vote is one cast in spite of what you now know (and probably always knew or suspected) is insanity. A vote wasted on either side of the corrupt two party system is contrary to your good conscience and desire to see our country taken back and put on track by “We the People.”

If you are somehow invested in, and want more (tons more) of the same old shit, then go ahead and cast your same old shit votes. If not, then do yourselves and America a great service – exercise your externally uncontrolled inner freewill and vote your conscience. Make our efforts amount to even more by introducing this “new” concept to as many people as you can. Start developing the mindset in yourselves and those around you that “Republican and Democrat” are dirty words and that you consider support, identification and affiliation with these filthy words a pretty good indication of insanity and stupidity.

I’m still of the mind that we may not even have the elections this year (I hope and pray I’m wrong) – but unless we get our act together on this right now, it’s a pretty good bet that we certainly won’t have the privilege to vote again next term.

I believe we all are in for some pretty tough and unpleasant times over the next several months. Once again, I encourage you to put away as much storable food and water as possible, as soon as possible – I can’t stress this enough.

I’ll see you on the other side……………

Agape’ and blessed be to you all,

Dave

The SPIRIT: That Stranger Inside Us

The first key unchanging and irrefutable point to be made, understand and know, about Awareness and Truth, is that fundamental truths about human life and death does not change, nor does the basic requirements for what is necessary to sustain human life during the time from inception to birth and through the limited amount of time before human death. Humans are born at some point in time and die at some other point in time. Which is totally consistent during the best or worst living conditions in any millennium, country/nation, culture, language, religion or whatever category or label, and no matter what any one or group believes about how people should live our lives and what happens after we leave our human bodies.

Bringing us to the next key fundamental unchanging and irrefutable truth across the spectrum of references. And that is that, evidently, the true identity of any individual human is not the human body, by any name or number label. Everyone does agree about that fact in common language. That is, when the living entity leaves the human remains of the visible human body, that is precisely what happens. And that event is referred to in terms such as Joe, Jane, or whatever name, number or other label the person was known as, 'has passed on' and their remains/body can be viewed, or not, at a certain time and place, and will be buried, cremated, or disposed of in whatever chosen manner. So Joe, Jane or whoever 'passed on' and left their human remains was obviously not the body during the time that the living entity occupied the human body that they left. Which simply and accurately means that the living entity, with some amount of conscious and/or unconscious awareness, was as invisible when it occupied the human body as it is after it leaves the human body, as far as visibility to the sight of most people. Although, often people will make false/inaccurate/incorrect statements from habitual use, like, Joe or Jane died/is dead and we/they are going to bury, cremate or whatever him/her at such and such time and place.

Clearly, given that Joe or Jane 'passed on' and left their remains/human body, Joe or Jane is not going to be buried or disposed of in any other manner, just the human body that Joe or Jane once occupied. Likewise, when people then would say that Joe or Jane is buried in a cemetery somewhere, Joe or Jane in not buried in a cemetery anywhere, because Joe or Jane left before their body was buried, usually. The invisible, to most, Spirit/energy active in the, so called, Soul, *component, with Conscious Awareness, is the true identity of individual humans. The SPIRIT: That Stranger Inside Us - <Scroll down to "Customer Reviews." That is the level on which we are all equal aspects from and of The SOURCE of ALL in existence. *

dictionary

All of the above is basically true about all other life forms, flora and fauna, as well as all other inanimate forms/objects, dirt, rocks, diamonds, gold, suns, planets, galaxies, anything and everything else in existence, from the perspective of humans, and/or other sentient Beings, perception and conscious awareness. As far as any of us humans, or other sentient Beings, can observe, experience, verify, prove and know, everything has a beginning and an end.

Expressed in different words, everything in existence has a cycle of birth and death, and all things are moving and changing. Like the moon revolving around the Earth, which is spinning around it's axis, in the Milky Way galaxy that is revolving around it's center point, as the Milky Way galaxy is moving around in the astrological *"cycle of the general Precession," which is all moving outward, along with all of the other billions of galaxies, and changing continuously, with new galaxies being born and dying/changing forms all along.

*["In the present cycle both of these periods are near minimums, since the eccentricity and inclination of the Earth's orbit are decreasing to minimum values. In the current cosmic Era the length of the Planetary Precession and rotation of the Line of Apsides will be from 72,000 to 75,000 years. The minimum inclination will be reached in about 20,000 years and the minimum eccentricity about 26,000 A.D., one cycle of general Precession after Christ. The last Stationary position of the Perihelion-Stationary-Direct after several thousands of years of retrogressive motion - was about 26,000 years before Christ: again one cycle of the general Precession."]

As symbolically represented in the Wheel of Paganism, and Circle mandala of Buddhism, as well as the Cross of Christianity, and in Hindu, Pagan, and Judaic symbology, overlaid and interwoven triangles representing the male and female energy and chemical compositions - or, in scientific terms, positive and negative energy and particle elements. With crosses and triangles indicating specific points of reference for latitudinal and longitudinal spectrum directions - north - south - east - west - and varying degrees along the circular spirals and linear spectrums within the whole of sentient perceivable directions, and beyond perception, in the rapidly expanding Source of all creation in universes. "Islamic symbols are non-textual and non-verbal. A crescent is generally the shape produced when a circular disk has a segment of another circle removed from its edge, so that what remains is a shape enclosed by two circular arcs of different diameters which intersect at two points (usually in such a manner that the enclosed shape does not include the center of the original circle).

In astronomy, a crescent is the shape of the lit side of a spherical body (most notably the Moon) that appears to be less than half illuminated by the Sun as seen by the viewer. Mathematically, assuming the terminator lies on

a great circle, such a crescent will actually be the figure bounded by a half-ellipse and a half-circle, with the major axis of the ellipse coinciding with a diameter of the semicircle. The direction in which the "horns" (the points at the intersection of the two arcs) face indicates whether a crescent is waxing (also young, or increasing) or waning (also old, or decreasing)."

On the cusp of transition into the Age of Aquarius - New Paradigm, for human conscious Awareness and behavior, it All adds up to, the most important TIME for YOU and me is NOW, with BIG time thanks to our Spirit World(s) Ancestors and Relatives, and Extraterrestrial Relatives who and that made and makes it possible for us to Be Here Now, to do the best we can with the 'time' we have.

Some of those Relatives are from other planets, galaxies and dimensions, and have created an extensive catalogue of basic to highly advanced information, to assist us with our evolving Conscious Awareness, in what are commonly referred to as Crop Circles - more accurately Crop Formations, not all being circles Temporary Temples, inclusive of an advanced scientific, mathematical and geometrical response (created in a wheat field overnight) to the message sent from this Earth on The Golden Records in Voyager I* and II.

*[Voyager 1 is the most distant man-made object -- over 10.4 billion km (over 6.4 billion miles) from the Sun (a bit farther than that from the Earth - in comparison, the Earth is about 0.1 billion miles from the Sun), followed by Voyager 2 -- 8 billion km (5 billion mi.) from the Sun -- as of 1/30/98. Voyager 2 was launched first, in August 1977, followed by Voyager 1 in Sept. 1977, so they've been traveling for over 20 years! (see: http://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/)]

"Both Voyager spacecrafts carry a greeting to any form of life, should that be encountered. The message is carried by a phonograph record -a 12-inch gold-plated copper disk containing sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth. The contents of the record were selected for NASA by a committee chaired by Carl Sagan of Cornell University. Dr. Sagan and his associates assembled 115 images and a variety of natural sounds. To this they added musical selections from different cultures and eras, and spoken greetings from Earth-people in fifty-five languages."

~ Widow's Web ~

By Silver Moon Widow

I have always had a hard time accepting the concept of the gods and goddesses in any form - myth or religion. I have fought with this sense of denial for a long time. I have always asked the question, "why?" And have analyzed the purpose of their existence. I have asked the why of their nature, who they are, why we write myths about them, and how they somehow affect our lives - both in the spiritual and the physical realities.

I will foremost come out and say, I do not believe in any God or Goddess. You may be asking me why, or even getting upset at this (which is fine). I do not claim to be all knowing. I am simply stating how I see things. So you can make the choice to read on or to leave, that is up to you.

In so many of the myths, the deities would come down and walk among us, talk to us, have relations and even involve themselves in the lives of their followers. The Gods were just as  petty and fool-hearted as us. Their lives were also filled with soap opera antics, petty squabbles, and unneeded wars (mostly fought for them by their human worshipers). We worshiped and followed them hoping to receive their protection and blessings.

I ask, “Where was Isis when Pompeii was destroyed by Vesuvius?" The people prayed and begged for her mercy and help. But she did not come and they all perished. Oh, that's right, the gods can't get involved in human affairs, unless they deem it worthy, or it benefits them. “Where were the gods during Sodom and Gammora?” According to Zacharia Stichen in his book “The Lost Book of Enki,” a petty war between Marduk and Ishtar caused its destruction. Resulting in the killing of many innocent people.

Also, if there is only one way to believe, why play these petty guessing games with us? Why not just tell us, or even walk among us, instead of laughing at our frustrations and allowing us to slaughter ourselves because of the confusion. Where are they - these ancient gods so many believe in? But yet, they do not make a physical appearance as they supposedly did in the past. Was Christ's death the end to their pettiness? Did he prove that we are more than beacons at their beck and call? That we are beings of immense energy and power? And they kept us sedated under their rules and laws  to keep us from developing our minds and power??

What if these ancient gods were beings of immense knowledge and power from another world? Known then by the term Gods (today, by the term Alien) they are the building blocks for our concept of divinity from our myths to our beliefs. Yes, even the old nature gods and goddesses of the old religions of  Europe. I do not claim I am right. I am simply stating what I have come to understand.

I work my magicks and rituals with out the help of  the gods.

The power and energy is inherit in each of us. We need no outside Gods to guide us with petty laws and rules set by them through our predecessors. We need not rely on those beings or their laws. We need to rely only on ourselves.

Do not get me wrong, I do believe in the unseen realms and other dimensions. They are not in the same caliber as the concept of the gods and goddesses of old - the ones who walked among us - the aliens who oversaw each culture. Fighting their petty wars with their enemies. Look at the myths. Titans and Gods, Angels and  Demons, Giants and Gods, and on and on... There always seemed to be battle, conquest, killing, and other acts of destruction.

I do believe in ascended beings that work with us and guide us. Beings we have come to fondly call by the names of the ancient alien beings. We have even given them the same images. But, these entities are beyond our mortal concepts. They are guides, friends, and even counselors helping us to find ourselves and the power within us.

They are of a purely photonic nature. You could even say from a photonic plane of reality. Because we are carbon based we do not fully see them. But, we can hear and work with them and they can reveal themselves to us in our visions and dreams. When we are on a different level, the mind is a connection - a plug into the unseen photonic reality which we will join when we pass on to the other side.

So based on this, I believe the concepts such as The Law of Three, etc., are false lies - created to keep us from evolving and developing, making our own choices, and creating our own lives.

Nature has two sides, creative and destructive. Yet, there is no Law of  Three returned to the blackberry bush when her thorns draw blood on a person, or an animal kills another animal. We are nature. We have two sides. And energy is a part of us, to wield for destruction or protection. To believe that something, such as the universe, will send it back is part of the control factor. To keep us from evolving ourselves. And to keep us chained, so we can not protect ourselves when it is needed.

Yes, there is a creative and destructive force that created all. But it is beyond comprehension. I call the force the creatrix. It is the force of the energy within us. Within the herbs, plants, stones, animals, etc. It has duel sides. The sun, moon, stars, planets, solar system, and everything else was created by this force. It has no beginning. It just is.

Life is made up of choices - bottom line. Nothing is returned . All the magick systems, laws, rules, etc. - Where do you think they come from? Do you ever ask why are they tainted with lies? To hinder us? Was the knowledge past down from the aliens to the priests, shamans, and other spiritual people done that way to keep us in their control? This "Law of  Three," "Do as Thou Will," and "Harm None" are only newer concepts. It is a hindrance. Wake up, grow some balls, and reclaim who you are.

The only one that judges and hinders you is yourself. No deity runs your life. No god is watching over you. Those were just aliens who found us useful slaves to control, to build, and to create for them.

But in the end, we were the builders and creators - not them. Find your own way, your own path. Reclaim your freedom, reclaim your power, and be free...
